Payment of taxes to hometown - Wednesday, 24 Oct. 2018
I tried using payment of taxes to hometown system this week. It is called ふるさと納税 (Furusato nozei).
If you donate to the hometown with this system, you can reduce taxes by donated amount minus 2000 yen, and get thank you gift from donated hometown. In other words, you can buy the thank you gift only by 2000 yen. There are many kind of thank you gifts. For example, high quality meat, salmon roe, crab, vegetables, fruits, and so on.
The system name includes "hometown", but it does not limit destination of donation to hometown. Everyone can donate any cities in Japan if the city provides the system.
I donated to four cities, which are Fukuoka, Okinawa, Kagoshima and Yamagata. I'll get gift that are Gyoza, Kintsuba, sweet potato and hamburg steak. Kintsuba is one of Japanese traditional sweets. Kintsuba is generally made of anko (anko is a kind of bean paste. It is sweet.), but the kintsuba is made of sweet potato. It is called Satsuma-Kintsuba sometimes.
Miso soup - Tuesday, 23 Oct. 2018
Today, I cooked miso soup with bean sprouts and asari clam. I haven't cooked in a while because my mouth is painful by pulling out wisdom tooth.
I really like asari clam. I often cook miso soup and sake-steamed clams.
Recently a magazine was published. I wrote an article for the magazine. It has been serialized for 1 year, and it is the final article.
Dinner with coworkers - Monday, 22 Oct. 2018
Today, I went to dinner with coworkers. We ate Yakiniku (Japanese style Korean BBQ). I like it, but I cannot eat fatty meat a lot. I feel I am old.
Painful eating - Sunday, 21 Oct. 2018
I mainly eat jelly drinks recently. Because my mouth is painful, so I don't want to chew. I'd like to eat other foods. I challenge some foods, which are oden (Japanese stew), ramen, and snacks, but I chewed them painfully. I'd like to eat delicious food comfortably.
Cat breed - Saturday, 20 Oct. 2018
Naming is difficult. Naming for a project is especially difficult. It takes a long time to decide on a project name.
I can usually decide a project name quickly, because I have a rule. I use a cat breed name as a project name. I just search with "cat breed" and choose a name from Wikipedia or some website when I need to decide a project name. It's easy.
The problem is that cat breeds are few. Some breeds are unsuited for a project name. For example, "Siberian" is not suited because it is a place name (I'd like to use "cat" name!).
Lykoi is a good cat breed name for a project name. I've started developing new software and named it Lykoi.
Chestnut bread - Friday, 19 Oct. 2018
Today, I baked chestnut breads.
I stocked the dough into my freezer. I'll take the dough to my office, and serve the bread that is hot from the oven.
I've been sick since this Tuesday. I pulled out a wisdom tooth on Tuesday. After that, my body condition is really bad. I had a headache, toothache and dizzy. I could not eat hard food because my mouth is painful. I think it is the worst week this year.

Today, I'd like to bake bread, but I dropped an egg to a floor accidentally. I had only one egg, so I gave up baking.
By the way, I don't like egg, so I use egg only for baking. I usually buy one egg at a time because if I buy many eggs I cannot use all eggs. Therefore I had only one egg.
