Izu Shimoda and Atagawa - Sunday, 25 Nov. 2018

Recently I went on a trip to Izu, Shizuoka. I stayed at Shimoda for two nights, and I went to Atagawa at the last day of the trip.

Hot spring

The primary purpose of the trip is hot spring. I stayed in a room that has a private hot spring. The place is perfect. I took the hot spring at morning, evening, night, and late at night.

I stayed at Kurofune Hotel. I recommend it.

Especially I like Ushio-jiru of clam (the last one). It is Japanese clam soup. It is based on salt. It tastes bland.

I went to Shimoda Aquarium.

I went to Atagawa Tropical & Alligator Garden at the last day. I saw many alligators and many strange plants.

Acqua pazza - Saturday, 17 Nov. 2018

I cooked acqua pazza yesterday. It is Italian seafood cuisine.

Ingredients

  • Horse mackerel
  • Asari clam
  • Tomato
  • Broccoli
  • Salt and pepper
  • Olive oil
  • White wine
  • Water
  • Garlic
  • Spaghetti

Cooking steps

  1. Prepare horse mackerel. Remove the scales, guts and gills. Horse mackerel has scales, which is called Zeigo in Japanese, on the tail, so also remove it.
  2. Sprinkle salt and pepper on the fish.
  3. Remove the calyx from the tomato.
  4. Cut broccolis, and microwave it for 3 minutes.
  5. Stir fry sliced garlic with olive oil on a pan. It should be low heat.
  6. Put the fish, and grill both sides.
  7. Put clams and wine. Steam it.
  8. After these clams are opened, put broccoli and tomato.
  9. Steam it for 5 ~ 10 minutes. It's finish! If you'd like to eat spaghetti, you can put it to the soup.

Pixel 3 - Tuesday, 9 Nov. 2018

I got new smart phone recently. It is Pixel 3. It is the newest one of Pixel series. My previous smart phone has some problem. For instance, it has broken proximity sensor. I cannot stop phone call because the display is black out during phone call.


Today, I found Guarana drink in a supermarket. I really like it, so I bought three bottles. It is rare around here, but it is major in Hokkaido.

It tastes like medicine.

Sweet potato anpan - Sunday, 4 Nov. 2018

Today, I baked sweet potato anpan. Anpan is a kind of bread. It contains anko. Anko is sweet been paste. Sweet potato anpan does not use anko. It contains sweet potato paste only. It was delicious. I still have some frozen dough, so I'm looking forward to bake it. I'll bake it for breakfast if I can wake up early.

Likes and dislikes - Tuesday, 30 Oct. 2018

Today, I published a web page that is a part of my profile page. It describes my likes and dislikes of food. Sorry it is written in Japanese.

I have many dislike foods, so sometimes I need to describe dislikes to who will have lunch with me. I'd like to use this page for the purpose.

I don't remember favorite foods quickly when someone asks me about that. I'll see the page when someone asks me. By the way, I remember dislikes because I do not want to eat dislikes absolutely.

Puyo Puyo - Friday, 26 Oct. 2018

Today, I played Puyo Puyo with coworkers. All player were beginner, but they ware growing during playing it.

I bought new Puyo Puyo game for switch after I came home. This game is on sale. It is 500 JPY. I think it is super inexpensive, so you must buy it.


I drank caramel popcorn latte.

There are some caramel popcorn on the latte. It is delicious, but it's too sweet.

Stitches removed - Thursday, 25 Oct. 2018

I got my stitches removed for pulled out wisdom tooth. I was scared by removing it, because I lost many blood when the wisdom tooth is pulled out. I have no problem today, so I was relieved.


Today, I take frozen dough of chestnut bread to my office. I baked them and provided coworkers. They ware happy, so I was also happy.
